Testing out the Twitter module on my site

I must confess that I'm a bit of a social networking addict. I've used many of these tools for years now, to connect with family, friends, and colleagues scattered around the globe. For us genealogists, this is a dream come true, and has really accelerated my research progress the last few years.

So, I'm always eager to find ways to mesh my social networking connectivity by posting updates to multiple platforms in a single attempt.

In this attempt, I'm testing out Drupal's Twitter module.

Posting calendar events on your web sites

I'm in the midst of rebuilding the web site for the Orange County Heritage Coordinating Council, a non-profit local history organization on which I serve. I wanted to include a calendar of HCC events, as well as all Orange County local history events... but I didn't want to have to compile and enter this all myself.

NYT news quiz Facebook application

The New York Times launched a new Facebook application a couple weeks ago, applying Facebook's recently opened API to the NYT's daily online news quiz.
